Guest Lecture: Cian Oba-Smith
Images reflects photographer’s inner world, showing all information about the person. I think Cian is the person who has warm kindness and strong heart, when looking at his works, you would get a sense of his unique romance in a specific way, which is different from the cinematic style, but more like audience area also falling into his own world of image. I like each project he has done as well as they all link to one theme: life. He observes in the different way to show the life surrounded him. Even if with various remarkable societies, they still stay in the same line. It’s believable he looks into depth on each subject matter by using his artistic perspective. His talk inspired me a lot, I feel I am seeing enough things around me, and I should make the view boarder and wider, looking deeper and geeing lost in the world, observing more things live in the corner, things we have never noticed.
