Fashion Look Book project

Fashion you can buy, but style you possess – Iris Apfel

Fashion photography is a wide area and it offers flexibility to express your thought. In this project, students aim to produce a Look Book with a series of photograph, this is the first starting to explore the relation between a book and images.

I decided to photograph accessories as my subject, and it against different material of background to create a graphic and abstract way of style, for instance, newspaper, magazine and illustration books. Initially, I was struggling with how to express the idea and difficulty to choose an easy way or challenge to do, but when I started thinking back, I realized that I should do something I am pleased with as well as enjoying the process while meeting problems, if I went the simple way, I wouldn’t learn substantial experience myself, then I directly went on my way, and found that the more you practice, the better result you get.
