Professional practice task

First Year

On the first professional contexts lesson, we were required to answer four questions below.

 

1.Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years from now?

After 5 years I want to see myself at a reposible position with good knowledge and lots of experiences. In the future years, I hope to get chance to work with different companies or clients outside of the UK, such as U.S, Japan etc.. Also, more from other photogrphers.

 

2.What skills do you think you need to achieve your goals?

  • communication skills: Connecting own ideas and convey though to clients, convince them as well.
  • profassional knowledge: Using this skills to build up and support own concept.
  • understanding technique: To develop ezch function to make photography work effectively.

3.What are the business skills you will need to achieve your goals?

Just like previous question, communication skills is really important, meanwhile, you have to think how to make clients satisfy and let them believe it's worth to hire you working for them.

 

4. How will you achieve this?

Searching some articles from photographers who have had experiences about different situations as well as their suggestions when they discuss with customer. Another is being a photographer's assistance, this will help me to gain and learn more quickly.
